My recent stay at Forest Lake RV & Camping Resort wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. While it has been a beloved spot for over a decade, I found the amenities, particularly the pools, to be lacking. It was disappointing to discover that both pools were closed during my visit, and the overall maintenance seemed to be more of a concern than the enjoyment of the guests.

The camping sites feel neglected, and the reservation system left much to be desired during my stay.

Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem to communicate effectively, and there were instances where I felt treated disrespectfully by the rangers.

Overall, I found Forest Lake RV & Camping Resort to be a decent spot for a family getaway. The campground's location was convenient, and the sites were generally nice for full-size RVs. However, I encountered significant issues during the check-in process that left me feeling unsupported, especially given my military obligations. Also, while the facilities have potential, improvements like a heated pool and better-maintained roads would enhance the experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Forest Lake RV & Camping Resort, particularly appreciating the well-maintained grounds and spacious campsites. However, some facilities like the hot tub were out of order, and I found the propane filling area a bit tricky to navigate with my larger rig.

I had a mixed experience at Forest Lake RV & Camping Resort. On one hand, the campground is nestled in a beautiful, wooded area that provides plenty of shade, and the staff was super friendly. However, I found the cabins to be in rough shape with some maintenance issues, and there weren't many activities offered during my stay. It felt like they really need to step up their game in terms of upkeep and planning activities for guests.

The cabin I stayed in was quite run down, hot, and had rotted boards on the patio, which was disappointing.

They had a functional bathhouse which was clean, but the common spaces were pretty filthy and needed attention.

My stay at Forest Lake RV & Camping Resort was quite pleasant. The campground is beautifully wooded, providing ample shade, especially nice for warmer days. The bathhouse was clean and functional, which I appreciated. However, I did notice that the rustic vibe might not align with everyone's expectations of a 'resort'. and the adult pool rules could use some reconsideration, as some kids were quite disruptive.
